Codenames: Deep Undercover – The Spy Game Goes After Dark 🕵️🍸

Same clever clue-giving, very different words – Codenames: Deep Undercover is the adults-only edition of Vlaada Chvátil's team word game, for grown-up groups who like their party games cheeky.

Two teams face a grid of 25 word cards. In each team one player is the spymaster and secretly knows which words belong to their agents. The spymaster gives a clue of just one word and a number, and their teammates try to touch the right cards – without hitting the other team's agents, innocent bystanders, or the assassin, which ends the game instantly. The rules are the Codenames you know, but the words are not for the kids' table: expect double meanings, awkward pauses and plenty of laughter when someone has to explain their clue. It plays as a standalone game, and a round is quick, so the next one is never far away. The English variant is the revised 2.0 edition.
