Red7 – Win or You're Out 🟥🌈

Red7 is a small card game by Carl Chudyk and Chris Cieslik with one simple rule: if you are not winning at the end of your turn, you are out. This is the European English edition from Lucrum Games, for 2 to 4 players aged 9 and up.

The deck has 49 cards: seven colours, each with the numbers 1 to 7, and every colour stands for a different rule. The card on top of the canvas, the pile in the middle of the table, shows which rule applies right now, for example who has the most even numbers. In front of you lies your palette, the cards you have played. On your turn you do one of three things: play a card from your hand to your palette, play a card to the canvas to change the rule, or do both. Whatever you choose, at the end of your turn you must be the one winning under the current rule. If you can't manage it, you drop out of the round. The last player still in the game wins. Every hand becomes a little puzzle: build your palette, or change what counts as winning? The rules offer several levels of difficulty, and a game lasts 5 to 30 minutes.
