Pandemic: On the Brink – When the Diseases Get Stronger 🦠⚠️

Pandemic: On the Brink by Matt Leacock and Tom Lehmann (Z-Man Games) is an expansion for the cooperative game Pandemic. You've found the cures to four deadly diseases – but what happens when those diseases get stronger? You need the Pandemic base game to play.

On the Brink adds three challenges that change the base game in different ways. Virulent Strain: one disease becomes a virulent strain, and special epidemic cards make it harder and harder to treat as the game goes on. Mutation: an unpredictable fifth disease enters the game and pops up in unexpected places. Bio-Terrorist: a fifth player puts on the mask of the Bio-Terrorist, moving secretly across the board and spreading panic while everyone else works together to stop them. Try each challenge on its own, or combine them for a major test. Beyond the challenges, the box brings 7 new roles with pawns, 8 new events and an extra epidemic card for even harder games. Five petri dishes with labels give you a tidy place for the disease cubes, and blank cards let you create your own. With the extra pawn colour, Pandemic can now be played by up to five players.
