Medico – Become the Next Medicus 🩺🏰

In medieval Europe, “medicus” was a prestigious title earned only through experience and great medical knowledge. Medico by Stefan Feld, illustrated by Dennis Lohausen and published by Pegasus Spiele, is a strategy game for 2 to 4 players aged 12 and up, in 60 to 90 minutes.

You are travelling barbers caring for the local population. Each round you secretly choose a destination and travel there, taking smaller actions at stops along the way. Visit cities, study in monastery libraries, care for the sick and collect remedies to sell for coins. Use them to train apprentices, buy medical instruments or study under a Medicus – and win the favour of nobility and clergy. The player with the most points becomes the next Medicus. The eight-part city map can be laid out differently, so every game feels fresh.
