Ubongo 3-D Family – Puzzle Fast, Build Up 🧩⏳

Ubongo 3-D Family from Kosmos takes the Ubongo puzzle race into three dimensions. Designed by Grzegorz Rejchtman, it is for 1 to 4 players aged 8+, and a game takes about 25 minutes.

Each round, everyone has a puzzle board showing an area to fill. The die decides which puzzle you have to solve, then the sand timer is turned, and all players start at the same time. Find the right three-dimensional pieces and place them on the area so that it is covered completely on exactly two levels – you may rotate and flip the pieces as you like. The first player to finish shouts “Ubongo” and takes a blue sapphire plus another gem; the others keep going as long as the sand timer is running, and they can earn a reward too. After nine rounds, the player with the most valuable collection of gems wins. With four different difficulty levels, children and adults can play together at the level that suits each of them, so everyone has a fair chance to win. The puzzles train spatial thinking and logic in a playful way. The game includes 72 puzzle cards, 32 puzzle pieces, a die, a sand timer, 58 gems and a cloth bag. This is the German edition with German rules.
