Ticket to Ride: Paris – Ride Through the City of Light 🚌🗼
Jump aboard an open platform bus, cruise down the Champs-Élysées, admire the Eiffel Tower and end your day with a sunset in Montmartre. Ticket to Ride: Paris by Alan R. Moon, illustrated by Julien Delval and published by Days of Wonder, is part of the Ticket to Ride: Cities line – standalone games that are shorter and more compact than the classic edition.
Set in the glamorous Paris of the roaring twenties, the game has 2 to 4 players race to visit the city's most iconic locations and complete their Destination Tickets. On your turn you draw Transportation cards, claim a Route by playing matching cards and placing your plastic Buses on it, or draw new Destination Tickets. The new twist is the French flag: when you claim a blue, white or red Route, you can keep one of the cards you played face up in front of you. If you have one blue, one white and one red card at the end of your turn, you have formed a French flag – score 4 points. When a player has two or fewer Buses left, everyone gets one last turn. Then completed Destination Tickets add points and unfinished ones subtract them, and the player with the most points wins. With simple rules, it is a quick way into the world of Ticket to Ride.
