Codenames: Duet – Two Spies, One Mission 🕵️💬

The classic word game with a cooperative twist. Codenames: Duet by Vlaada Chvátil and Scot Eaton, published by Czech Games Edition, is for 2 or more players – great for two, but you can play with more friends too.

Lay out 25 word cards in a 5×5 grid. Between you is a shared key card, and each of you sees only one side: on your side, nine words mark your agents, three mark deadly assassins, and the rest are innocent bystanders. Take turns giving one-word clues with a number. Guess right and keep going; guess a bystander and your turn ends; guess an assassin and the mission fails. Your goal: find all 15 agents in 9 turns – or allow up to 11 while you learn. You don't need any other Codenames game to play.
