Kingdomino – Build the Grandest Kingdom 👑🏰

You are a lord seeking new lands to expand your kingdom. Kingdomino by Bruno Cathala won the Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) 2017 – a quick, clever tile-laying game for 2 to 4 players, in about 15 minutes.

Each turn, you choose a domino tile and connect it to your kingdom. Each tile has two squares of terrain – fields, forests, lakes, grasslands, swamps or mines – and at least one side must match a terrain already in your kingdom. Your kingdom must fit in a 5×5 grid. The order of your king on the selection track decides who picks first next round, so a valuable tile now means a later pick next time. At the end, each connected terrain area scores its number of squares multiplied by the crowns in it.
