Nemesis: Carnomorphs – Flesh That Evolves 👾🧬

You already know how it feels to be chewed by an Intruder. Do you want to know what it is like to be torn apart by a gruesome Carnomorph? Nemesis: Carnomorphs is an expansion for Nemesis, the semi-cooperative sci-fi survival horror game by Awaken Realms. The Nemesis base game is required.

The expansion adds a new intruder race that replaces the Intruders from the base game, along with their own miniatures, tokens and Event cards. The 20 Carnomorph miniatures include 8 Metagorgers, 8 Shamblers, 3 Fleshbeasts and 1 Butcher. Carnomorphs grow stronger by feeding: a Metagorger can evolve into a Shambler, a Shambler into a Fleshbeast and a Fleshbeast into the Butcher, so leaving them alone is dangerous. The expansion also introduces a new game mechanic, Character Mutations, which come from contact with the Carnomorphs and change your character as the game goes on, together with contamination. Carnomorph Adaptation cards make the creatures even less predictable from game to game. As in Nemesis, you still pursue your own secret objectives while trying to survive the ship with the rest of the crew. Nemesis: Carnomorphs is for 1 to 5 players aged 14+, and a game takes about 60–120 minutes.
