Wingspan: European Expansion – The Birds of Europe 🐦🌍

Widen the world of Wingspan to the regal, beautiful and varied birds of Europe. The Wingspan: European Expansion, designed by Elizabeth Hargrave and published by Stonemaier Games, is the first expansion for Wingspan, for 1 to 5 players in about 40 to 70 minutes. The Wingspan base game is required.

The heart of this expansion is 81 new bird cards – all unique, all new – illustrated by Natalia Rojas, Ana Maria Martinez Jaramillo and Beth Sobel. These birds bring a variety of new powers, including powers that increase interaction between players, birds that can cover multiple spaces to make future actions more profitable, and birds that benefit from excess cards or food. The featured new mechanism is the round-end power, shown on 20 birds with a teal background. These powers trigger at the end of each of the four rounds, before the round's goal is scored, and because they trigger at most four times per game, they are very powerful. The expansion also adds new bonus cards, five double-sided end-of-round goal tiles with ten new goals, Automa cards for solo play, 15 purple eggs, extra food tokens and a colourful scorepad for both multiplayer and solo scoring. All the new cards are designed to be shuffled into your original decks. A custom tray with a lid stores your growing bird collection.
