Tapestry – Weave the Story of Your Civilization 🏛️🗺️

Start from nothing and create the story of your civilization. Tapestry by Jamey Stegmaier, from Stonemaier Games, is a civilization game for 1 to 5 players in about 90 to 120 minutes, with artwork by Andrew Bosley and landmark sculpts by Rom Brown.

In Tapestry, you advance your civilization along four advancement tracks – science, technology, exploration and military – and each step forward brings you new abilities, buildings and landmarks. You can focus on one track or spread your efforts, and the path you choose shapes the story your civilization tells. Every so often you take an income turn instead, collecting resources and adding a tapestry card to your mat, which reflects the history and character of your people. Income buildings fill your capital city mat, while landmarks, shown as 18 detailed miniatures, rise as you reach key points on the tracks. Exploring the map lets you claim new territory and compete with your neighbours for space. With 16 civilization mats, each game begins with a different set of strengths, so no two civilizations grow the same way. The game includes 28 Automa cards for solo play, so you can also build your civilization alone against an artificial opponent. Tapestry is a game of choices: when to push forward, when to collect income, and which direction will make your civilization stand out.
