Dune: House Secrets – Resistance on Arrakis 🏜️🔍

Dune: House Secrets from Portal Games is a cooperative, story-driven game for 1 to 4 players aged 14+. It uses the investigation system of Portal's Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game.

You join the resistance against House Harkonnen and play through a series of chapters on the desert planet of Arrakis. Each chapter is played as a series of Encounters as you try to reach specific Goals, but Time runs short, so you can never see every Encounter – much of the story has to be deduced. Resources such as Spice, Water, Weapons and Subterfuge open up Encounters and effects, and they are scarce. A deck of cards with clues and twists, physical handouts and maps work together with a dedicated website, where you file a Status Report at the end of each chapter that shapes where the story goes. There are no winners or losers – your decisions create your own story. The game begins with a prologue followed by three larger adventures of about 2–3 hours each. Characters earn experience and new skills between sessions.
