Qwirkle Travel – Colours and Shapes On the Go 🧳🔷

Qwirkle, the Spiel des Jahres 2011 winner, now in a handy mini format. Qwirkle Travel from Schmidt Spiele, designed by Susan McKinley Ross, comes in a practical metal tin and is for 2–4 players aged 6+, with games of about 30 minutes.

Qwirkle is quick to learn and offers long-lasting fun. The 108 tiles show six shapes in six colours. On your turn, you add one or more tiles from your hand to the grid on the table, all in a single line. Every line must share either one colour or one shape – and the same tile can never appear twice in a line. You score a point for each tile in every line you create or extend, so clever placements that build several lines at once pay off. Complete a line of all six colours or all six shapes and you have a Qwirkle, worth six bonus points. If you don't like your tiles, you can swap some of them instead of playing. When the bag is empty, the first player to use up all their tiles ends the game and earns a bonus, and the highest score wins. The travel edition comes with four tile racks and two mini expansions, all stored in a sturdy metal tin – ready for holidays, trains and café tables.
