Llamaland – Farming in Giddy Heights 🦙⛰️

Being a farmer is not exactly easy with all the hills and mountains around – and the landscape is full of llamas! Llamaland by Phil Walker-Harding (Lookout Games) is a family puzzle game for 2–4 players aged 10+, taking about 45 minutes.

Growing potatoes, corn and cacao is what you love. Each turn, you place land tiles on your farm, and you can stack them on top of other tiles to build fields in giddy heights. Placing tiles this way earns you crops,. Use your crops to obtain the coveted llama cards. Each llama card gives you victory points at the end of the game and lets you place a wooden llama in your tableau. Keep an eye on the objectives, too: completing them before your opponents scores extra victory points. And do not be shy to ask the locals for help – character cards give you useful abilities along the way. After about 45 minutes, you will have an impressive, layered farm in front of you, dotted with sweet and cuddly llamas, and the most successful farmer with the most victory points wins. The illustrations by Klemens Franz bring the colourful Andean landscape to life.
