My Island – An Island That Grows With Every Game 🏝️🧩

After My City, Reiner Knizia takes you to the sea. My Island (Kosmos, 2023), illustrated by Michael Menzel, is a legacy tile-laying game for 2–4 players aged 10+, with each chapter taking about 30 minutes.

Each player has their own island board and places tiles made of connected hexagons onto it. The challenge is fitting the tiles cleverly into your landscape and scoring as many points as possible. The game is played as a campaign of 8 chapters with 3 games each – 24 games in total. With every chapter, new rules and elements come out of the envelopes, and your island board changes permanently: decisions from earlier games stay with you and shape the next ones. This makes every island unique, and over time each player's board tells its own story. The chapters are short, so you can play one in an evening or several in a row. Knizia's elegant rules make it accessible for families, while the campaign keeps experienced players coming back.
