Why Are You Like This? Party Mode – Guess, but Make It Weird 🎉🤪

In Why Are You Like This? (Party Mode) from Exploding Kittens, you get a little playful, a little physical and a little weird with your teammates. This competitive team version is for 4 or more players aged 7+ and takes about 15 minutes.

Split into two teams. The goal is to get your team to guess as many secret words as possible before the timer runs out. To do this, you can either talk, draw or gesture – whatever the Challenge Card allows. But each card also comes with an added twist that makes your job a little harder and a lot more ridiculous, such as having to stand on one foot while you gesture. Flip over a Challenge Card and read the challenge aloud. Set the timer to the time shown on the card, then try to get your team to guess as many words as possible while following all of its restrictions. Then it is the other team's turn to try the same Challenge Card. Play continues until both teams have gone through three Challenge Cards, and the team with the most Word Cards wins. Talking never means saying the word, drawing allows no letters or numbers, and gesturing is silent. It is ideal for parties and lively game nights.
