Wild Island: My Father's Dragon – Save the Sinking Island 🐉🏝️

The island is sinking, shaking and changing shape all the time – but there is still time to save it. Wild Island: My Father's Dragon from Value Add Games is a family board game based on the film My Father's Dragon, for 2 to 4 players aged 6 and up, in about 10 to 30 minutes.

Each player represents a team of the boy Elmer and the dragon Boris. To save the island, you move smartly around it, visiting different animals and finding the right energy source – and the first to do so wins. The island is made of 16 tiles placed randomly in a 4 × 4 grid, and each tile has nine spaces with trees and paths. You move by rolling a special die, trying to reach your objectives. From the second round on, the island starts to shake intensely, and players shift and move the tiles. Icons help: Elmer and Boris can enter a cave and come out of any other cave on the island, fly icons let Boris fly to any adjacent tile, and courage icons earn you courage tiles for even more flexible moves and island shaking. Some courage tiles can be saved in Elmer's backpack. Your objective tiles are shaped like jigsaw pieces: when all four objectives are reached, they form the picture of a saved island as a small puzzle.
