Gü – Heal the Plants of the Moving Forest 🌳💎

A charming family game from the Hungarian toy manufactory Marbushka. The Güs are plant experts who give every plant a funny name with the letter ü – and they have secret recipes of crystals to heal them. In Gü, 2 to 4 players aged 5 and up collect those crystals in a forest that never stands still.

The forest in the middle of the board rotates, so the entrances to the clearings keep changing place. On your turn, roll the die: a number moves your Gü along the path, a shaggy head moves the grumpy Morc, and arrows turn the forest by one square. Reach the entrance of a clearing and you pick up a crystal – unless Morc is blocking the way. At the tree roots you meet forest creatures: the Fogbird sends you back home, the Twin eggs double a crystal, the Tradeberry swaps one for another colour, and the Scurrying bug helps you grab a crystal from a neighbouring clearing. When you have the colour combination shown on one of the open recipe cards, you heal that plant and take the card. Because the forest and Morc move for everyone, the others have to watch closely too. The game ends when the recipe cards run out, and whoever has healed the most plants wins.
