Word Colony by Dorian Sarmasan is the game where Scrabble meets trivia: you answer general knowledge questions correctly to collect letter cards and build your own word colonies. The Around the World expansion takes the game on a journey, with questions that let players discover amazing things about unique places around the world.

The expansion contains 90 letter cards with new questions, including 4 black cards, plus 6 special cards that bring new possibilities into the game. You also get one pawn and one set of four ABCD answer cards, so one extra player can join – no more friends left watching as spectators. The game itself stays familiar. Choose the right answer to the question, collect as many letter cards as possible, build your word colonies and create your strategy, then gather points, move your pawn and win. With more players at the table, Word Colony expansions also let you form teams and alliances, so a large family or group of friends can all play together. Each Word Colony expansion adds one more player, so combining several expansions makes room for even bigger groups. Easy-to-follow expansion rules are included. Please note: this is an expansion. You need the Word Colony Original base game to play.
