Under Falling Skies – Hold the Line Below 🛸🎲

Alien ships are descending on the cities of Earth, and only your underground base stands in the way. Under Falling Skies, designed by Tomáš Uhlíř and published by Czech Games Edition, is a strategy game built for one player aged 12+, with games lasting about 20–40 minutes.

Every round you place dice in your base to take actions – and here is the twist: the column you choose also decides which enemy ship moves down towards the city. Higher numbers give you stronger effects, but they make the ships descend faster. You dig deeper to expand the base, shoot down ships, deploy robots, push your research forward and manage your energy, all while the mothership closes in a little more each round. Finish your research before the base is destroyed and you win. Once you know the standard game, the box also contains a full campaign: a notebook, comic chapter sheets, more cities, upgradable characters and new scenarios that change the rules as the story unfolds. It offers tense, puzzle-like decisions you can play again and again at your own table.
