Root: The Clockwork Expansion – The Woodland Gets Mechanical ⚙️🦊

Square off against four fiendishly automated factions. Root: The Clockwork Expansion from Leder Games lets you play Root solo, competitively or cooperatively, for 1 to 4 players aged 10 and up, in 60 to 90 minutes.

The expansion contains automated versions of all four factions from the Root base game: the Mechanical Marquise 2.0, the Electric Eyrie, the Automated Alliance and the Vagabot. Play solo, add a bot or two to fill out your multiplayer game, or cooperate as a team against the Clockwork factions. Each faction has three difficulty levels, and you can add one to four unique traits to give it new powers. It is fully compatible with the other Root expansions – so the Riverfolk or the Corvids can face the bots too. This is an expansion: the Root base game is required.
