Akropolis: Pantheon – A Capital for the Gods 🏛️⚡

Erect splendid Divine Altars to the protectors of the Capital. Akropolis: Pantheon by Jules Messaud, illustrated by Pauline Détraz and published by Gigamic, is a cooperative expansion for Akropolis for 1 to 4 players aged 8 and up.

This time the Architects work together: your goal is to build the Capital as a team and reach the highest possible score. Together you choose one of three scenarios – Corinth, Sparta or Athens – each one harder than the last. Every player gets a starting tile, the remaining starting tiles form the heart of the Capital in the middle of the table, and three Architectural Challenge tiles are revealed with their Divine Altars. You hold three City tiles in your hand like cards, and unlike the base game there is no river. On your turn, you either add a tile to your own City to complete an Architectural Challenge and win a Divine Altar, or place it in the Capital to help it grow. Each completed Challenge lets you place an Altar in the Capital in honour of Hestia, Hermes, Ares, Zeus or Demeter, depending on the colour of the Square. At the end, only the Squares in the Capital with a Divine Altar score – your own Cities score nothing – and your total is compared with the scenario's target score.
