A big, rich strategy game for players who love long plans. Daitoshi by Dani García, published by Devir, puts 1–4 players aged 14+ in charge of steam-powered factories in a growing city of the Kemushi saga.

The game flows without rounds: on your turn you either produce goods in your factory or move your tycoon to a city district and take its action. When you produce, you spend steam to run your buildings – and the other players may join in and run their own factories too. District actions let you hire workers, expand the city, electrify a district, trade with distant cities or get new patents to upgrade your factory. But progress has a cost: every action damages the forest, the river, the mountains or the ground, and the guardian yōkai will remember it. You can also help build the city's huge mega-machine, a wooden piece that travels around the board. A solo mode lets you play against the mayor. Expect about two hours and a game that rewards a second and third play.
