Cortex Challenge – Train Your Brain at Speed 🧠⚡

Eight kinds of challenges, one race to finish your brain. Cortex Challenge from Zygomatic is a quick card game for 2–6 players aged 8 and up, in about 15 minutes.

The youngest player turns over the first card from the pile. The back of each card shows which type of challenge is coming next. As soon as you think you have the solution, cover the card with your hand as fast as you can and give your answer. If it is correct, you win the card and place it face down in front of you. Two identical cards can be exchanged for a piece of your brain puzzle. If you are wrong, you discard the card and can't answer in the next round. The challenges test all your brain skills: name the five objects on a Memory card, find the exit of a Maze, spot the word written in its own colour, find the duplicate image, count the most frequent image, pick the piece that fits the drawing, or follow the Coordination card and place the right finger in the right spot. On a Touch Challenge, you have 10 seconds to recognise an object or texture only by feeling a raised tactile card. The first player to complete a brain made of four pieces wins.
