UNO Flex! – Bend the Colours 🔄🃏

UNO Flex! from Mattel keeps everything you know from classic UNO and adds cards that can change colour. It is for 2 to 8 players aged 7+, and the deck has 112 cards, including 8 Power Cards.

Each player gets a Power Card, starting on its green side, and seven cards in hand. As always, you match the top card of the discard pile by colour, number or symbol, or draw a card, and you shout "UNO" when you are down to one card. The twist is the Flex Cards. Each has a regular side and a flex side in a second colour. If your Power Card is green, you may play a card using its flex colour to make a match, but the regular colour is the one that continues play. After using a flex side, you flip your Power Card to red, and you can't flex again until it turns green. That happens when every player's Power Card is red, when you play a number card with a flip icon, or when someone plays a Wild All Flip. There are flex Action Cards too: the Flex Draw Two can make every other player draw one card, and the Flex Reverse reverses play and skips the next player. Timing your flex for the right moment is what makes this version fresh, even for players who have played UNO for years.
