Adventure Games: The Gloom City File – Crack the Case Together 🌆🔍

A message tears you away from your bleak, humdrum existence: three people have been kidnapped in Gloom City! Who is behind it – and why is the perpetrator dragging you, four suspended cops, into the matter? Adventure Games: The Gloom City File by Matthew Dunstan, Phil Walker-Harding and Hauke Gerdes is a cooperative crime noir adventure from Kosmos for 1 to 4 players aged 16 and up.

Time is of the essence, so you head to the abandoned asylum to start the investigation together. Similar to a PC adventure game, you explore locations, combine items, find clues, talk to the residents of Gloom City and make the right choices. Each player takes on a specific role, and every decision is made as a team – it is up to you how the thriller ends. The story is played in three chapters, and the rules are simple, so you can start playing right away. The game is completely unplugged: you read the adventure book yourselves as you go. Card by card, you discover how complex the case you have stumbled into really is. Will you be able to free the hostages and catch the culprit? This is a case for players who enjoy dark atmosphere and a gripping crime story – mystery and crime for an unforgettable evening.
