Art Robbery – Get the Loot! 🖼️🕵️

The heist worked – now comes the hard part: sharing the loot. Art Robbery by Reiner Knizia, illustrated by Petra Eriksson and published by Helvetiq in its After Dinner Games collection, is a card game for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and up, in about 20 minutes.

You are a gang of thieves with sketches, sculptures, antiquities and paintings in your pockets. The game is played over four raids, one for each collection. On your turn, you play a card from your hand and take the matching loot tile – from the middle of the table or, if it is no longer there, straight from another player. Special cards add a twist: the Greedy Thief lets you take any tile from the middle, the Guard Dog protects your loot, and the Boss tile is only yours to keep if you also hold a high-value tile from the same raid. At the end of each raid, your loot goes into a safe face-down pile. But don't forget the alibis – the white dots on some tiles. At the end of the game, whoever has the fewest alibis gets caught by the police, and then the richest thief wins.
