Masters of Crime: Shadows – Plan the Heist of the Century 🕶️🖼️

This time you are not the detectives. Masters of Crime: Shadows from Thames & Kosmos is a cooperative crime story game for 1–5 players aged 16+, in which your group plans a break-in at the famous Bachmann Gallery in Amsterdam.

Your job: steal a mysterious painting. Before you can do that, you need to search Amsterdam's underworld for a crew that can pull it off. Then you scout the gallery, study building plans, hack security systems and plan the theft step by step. You work through cards and sealed envelopes, pin clues on the large detective board and solve puzzles together. The game uses the real world too – you may need to look things up online, check maps or follow a phone number – so keep a phone or laptop at hand. Every decision changes how the story develops, and there is more than one ending. A session takes about two to four hours, so plan a long evening with snacks. Because it tells one story, you play it once – then pass it on to friends.
