Ligretto Kids – Fast Fun With Funny Animals 🐒🃏

Anyone who wants to become a real Ligretto player should start early. That's why the famous fast card game also comes in a kids' version with lots of funny animal pictures. Ligretto Kids by Schmidt Spiele is for 2 to 5 players aged 5 and up, in about 10 to 15 minutes.

Each player gets their own deck of 30 cards and shuffles it. The top cards are placed face up in the middle of the table to start the piles. Then someone calls "Ligretto!", and everyone plays at the same time – no waiting for your turn. Turn over your cards one by one and look at the piles in the middle: if your card shows the same colour or the same animal as the top card of any pile, you may put it there straight away. Cards that don't fit go onto your own discard pile, and whenever its top card fits somewhere, you can play it too. When your hand is empty, simply turn your discard pile over and keep going. The first player to get rid of all their cards shouts "Ligretto Stop!" and wins. With everyone playing at once, it gets fast and lively, so children train their attention, quick reactions and their eye for colours and animals – while the grown-ups have to keep up too.
