A classic of black humour, back in a new box. Junta, published by Pegasus Spiele, is a political satire board game for 2 to 7 players aged 16 and up, in about 120 to 140 minutes.

In the now legendary República de las Bananas, a corrupt military dictatorship rules, and its members are only interested in money and power. At the start, the President is "elected". He draws the secret budget from the pile of money, appoints his 6 cabinet members and hands them part of the budget. Naturally, some ministers are not happy with their share – there is plenty of intrigue, and sooner or later the junta strikes and the President is overthrown. He keeps whatever he managed to move into his Swiss numbered account before the coup. Then a new President is elected and it all starts again. Whoever has the most money in their own Swiss bank account at the end wins – as is tradition in military dictatorships. Junta has been a hit for over 30 years, and this reissue brings the classic in a new box format with new game materials.
