Quoridor PAC-MAN – The Maze Fights Back 🕹️👻

A classic of abstract strategy meets an arcade legend. Quoridor PAC-MAN is a PAC-MAN edition of Quoridor from Gigamic, designed by Mirko Marchesi with artwork by Grumpy and Bandai, for players aged 8 and up in about 15 minutes.

The box lets you play two ways. In classic mode, you play Quoridor as you know it: race your pawn to the opposite side of the board while placing wooden fences to slow down your opponents – but you can never close off a path completely. In PAC-MAN mode, one player takes the role of PAC-MAN and the others control the ghosts. PAC-MAN moves two squares at a time, while the ghosts move one – or two when PAC-MAN is in their line of sight. PAC-MAN has three lives, and every time a ghost catches him, he loses one. To win, PAC-MAN has to eat all four power pellets on the board before running out of lives, while the ghosts try to corner him using the fences to block his routes. Every fence changes the maze, so both sides have to think a few moves ahead and read what the other is planning. Inside the box you will find the board, a PAC-MAN pawn, four ghost pawns, four power pellets, twenty wooden fences and three extra-life tokens. Quick to set up and quick to play, it brings arcade tension to the table.
