Captain Bluff – Chaos at the Baggage Belts ✈️🧳

Three planes have just landed, and the luggage has to go – fast. Captain Bluff by Torsten Landsvogt, published by Helvetiq, is a bluffing card game for 2–5 players aged 8+, with games of about 20 minutes.

You play an airport baggage handler who just wants to finish the job and go home first. It doesn't matter if the luggage ends up on the wrong conveyor belt, as long as it's no longer in your hands. Six conveyor belts are lined up, and a face-down card above each one decides its departure city: Hong Kong, Honolulu or San Francisco. On your turn, you choose one action: place luggage on a belt in a sequence of consecutive numbers, define a new departure city, secretly check one, swap one with a card from your hand, or close a belt. All luggage on a belt must come from the same city – or so you claim. If you place luggage from a different city, you are bluffing, and any player can call you out. The departure city is revealed: if you bluffed, you take all the cards back; if you told the truth, the challenger takes them. Special Airport cards add twists such as a delayed flight, a change of direction or a round-the-world bag that can replace any luggage. The first player to get rid of all their cards becomes the new Captain Bluff.
