Nebblis – Map the Land Around an Active Volcano 🌋🗺️

Cartographers Map Pack 1: Nebblis – Plane of Flame by Thunderworks Games is an expansion that takes you to an active volcanic region. It can be played with either Cartographers or Cartographers Heroes – you need one of them to play.

In Cartographers, every player draws shapes and terrain on their own map sheet as cards from the Explore deck are revealed, trying to score the most reputation stars from the edicts in play. Nebblis changes the land you are mapping. It is rumoured that the forges of the ancient dwarves were connected by magic to the great volcano Astmork. As a royal cartographer, you stand before a mountain that belches flame into a smoke-blackened sky – and this map could bring you fame and glory, if you avoid the rivers of molten lava long enough to complete it. The pack contains 75 new double-sided map sheets, each featuring a volcano space, and 3 volcano cards that you shuffle into the Explore deck. When a volcano card is revealed, every player draws destroyed spaces on their map sheet, recording the damage the volcano does to the land. Destroyed spaces fill parts of your map but have no terrain type, so you need to plan around the lava as it spreads.
