Splitter – When Two Halves Make a Whole 🎲✏️

Splitter by Stefan Nikolić (NSV) is a quick roll-and-write dice game for 1–12 players, taking about 15 minutes. Every round, all players write down the same numbers – but usually in different places.

Each player gets an identical score sheet and a pencil. On your turn, you roll both dice once, and then all players – including you – write down both numbers on their own sheet. You can choose freely where to write them, with one rule: the two numbers must be symmetrical to the centre line, in the same row and at the same distance from the centre. You decide which number goes on the left and which on the right. Then the next player rolls. After 22 rounds, every sheet is completely full, and scoring begins. A 1 standing on its own scores 1 point. Exactly two 2s directly next to each other score 2 points, exactly three adjacent 3s score 3 points, and so on up to six 6s. Two star spaces double the points of a group placed on them. The pad has two sides: start with sheet A, and try sheet B and the solo variant described at the end of the rules once you know the game. Because everyone works with the same numbers, smart planning wins, not lucky rolls.
