Camel Up: The Card Game – Place Your Bets 🐪🏁

Welcome back to the craziest camel race. Just like in the board game Camel Up, five camels compete in a race of several legs – but in Camel Up: The Card Game by Steffen Bogen, a racing deck replaces the dice. It plays with 2–6 players aged 8+ in about 30–45 minutes.

The camels do not belong to anyone. Instead, your goal is to earn the most money by betting on their positions during each leg and on the overall result of the race. When a camel lands on a space with another camel, it climbs on top, and a camel that moves carries along everyone sitting on its back – so the leader can change in a single move. Because the race is driven by cards rather than dice, you get a little more insight into what might happen next and a little more control over the race, while the excitement of the board game stays. And to make the unpredictable even more unpredictable, a crazy camel joins the race in this edition. At the end of each leg, correct bets pay out and wrong ones cost you; when the first camel crosses the finish line, the final bets are scored and the richest player wins. The rules come in English, French and Dutch, which makes this a handy pick for mixed groups.
