Deep Sea Adventure – Treasure, Greed and One Air Tank 🤿💎

A group of adventurers has teamed up on a submarine to gather the treasures sleeping at the bottom of the sea. The submarine is very old, so everyone shares the same oxygen tank – if one diver goes too deep, the others' lives are on the line. Deep Sea Adventure by Jun and Goro Sasaki (Oink Games) is for 2–6 players aged 8+, in about 30 minutes.

The game is played over three dives. On your turn you first lower the shared air supply by the number of treasures you are carrying, then roll the two dice and swim along the line of ruin chips. The deeper you go, the more valuable the treasure can be, but every chip you pick up slows you down and uses up more air for everyone. At some point you have to decide to turn back – and you can only turn around once per dive. Divers who make it back to the submarine before the air runs out keep their treasures; everyone still in the water drops theirs to the sea floor. After three rounds, the player with the most treasure points wins. It is a short, nasty and very funny lesson in greed, packed into a small box.
