Bloom Kingdom – Flourishing Times in the Kingdom 🌸👑

Turn by turn, everyone chooses one card at the same time. Bloom Kingdom by Christian Kudahl and Thomas Weber, published by Deep Print Games, is a quick card game for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and up, in about 15 to 25 minutes.

Each turn, all players pick a card from their hand, place it face down and reveal at the same moment. The played cards join a common display, forming a column for each character – the Queen, King, Knight, Unicorn, Noble, Farmer, Wizard, Dragon, Fortune Teller and the Jester, who slips into other characters' columns. The more cards of a character come into play, the more valuable that character becomes. Half of the cards also carry an instant effect that can change the display, resolved in order of their initiative number. A round ends when everyone has just two cards left in hand, and only those two cards score, each according to the scoring rule at its bottom edge. So do you strengthen a character, or try to grab their victory points for yourself? And are the conditions met for a particularly lucrative scoring? The display stays in place for the whole game, and whoever scores the most victory points over three rounds wins. The box holds 100 character cards and 10 reference cards.
