Just One – One Word, One Guess 💬✏️

Be original – but not too original. Just One by Ludovic Roudy and Bruno Sautter, published by Repos Production, is a cooperative party game for 3 to 7 players aged 8 and up, in about 20 minutes. It won the Spiel des Jahres 2019.

The active player draws a card without looking at it and picks a number from 1 to 5: that is the mystery word. Everyone else sees the word and secretly writes a one-word clue on their easel. Before the clues are shown, all identical clues are cancelled! Then the active player gets a single guess. A correct guess wins the card; a wrong guess costs you this card and the top card of the deck. After 13 cards, count your score and try to beat your record. With 3 or 4 players, everyone writes two clues.
