Make the Difference – Not Too Easy, Not Too Hard ✏️🔍

A board game twist on the classic spot the difference puzzle. Make the Difference from Oink Games, created by the Bodogeimu team around Shintaro Ono, is for 2 to 5 players aged 7 and up, and a game takes about 20 minutes.

Take one of the illustrations and add five lines to it to create five "mistakes". Then the others try to find them, comparing your sheet with the original. The trick is finding the sweet spot: a mistake that is found too easily in the first minute only scores for the finder, while one found later scores for both of you. Tiny changes that nobody can find score nothing – but if you make a bold change that still goes unnoticed, you earn bonus points. So you have to think about how other people look at pictures, not just how well you can draw. Everyone takes turns creating and finding, and the player with the most points at the end wins. It is quick to explain and works for families and friends alike.
