Yahtzee – Shake, Score and Shout 🎲📣

Five dice, three rolls and one big decision every turn – Yahtzee is the classic Hasbro dice game for 2 or more players aged 8 and up, quick to explain to anyone at the table.

On your turn you roll five dice, set aside the ones you want to keep and roll the rest again – up to three rolls in total. Then you must fill in one empty box on your score card: three of a kind, a full house, a straight, or the famous Yahtzee, five of a kind. You can fill the boxes in any order, but every turn one box gets a score, even if it is a zero. That is where the fun starts. Do you take the safe full house, or risk it all for a Yahtzee? After 13 rounds everyone adds up their column, and the highest grand total wins. The shaker doubles as a storage case, so the whole game is easy to tidy away and take on holiday.

🎲 Three Rolls a Turn

Keep what you like, re-roll the rest and hope the dice play along.

📝 13 Boxes to Fill
