Machi Koro 2 – Things Are Dicey in This City 🏙️🎲

Your favourite quirky little city is back – and the bakeries and business centres are still everywhere. Machi Koro 2 from Pandasaurus Games is a standalone city-building dice game for 2–5 players aged 10+, with games lasting about 45 minutes.

On your turn you roll the dice, and every establishment whose number comes up pays out coins – sometimes to you, sometimes to your opponents. Then you spend your money on new establishments or landmarks to grow your city and set up powerful combos. Veteran players will notice some big changes. Under the new zoning laws, you don't start with fixed buildings: everyone gets a set budget and chooses their own starting establishments. The available cards come from three decks and are laid out for all to see, so it becomes a race to grab the coolest new establishments and landmarks. Many cards have effects never seen in the first game – but choose carefully, because some of your landmarks can benefit your opponents too. With this much variety, no two games play the same, and the sequel also makes room for a fifth player. You don't need the original Machi Koro to play.
